Radiomaster transmitters with built-in elrs (TX16s and Pocket anyway) come delivered with the elrs packet rate set to D1000.
This is tripping up a lot of people. SPI receivers do not bind to any of the D, F, or Full Res packet rates.

Serial (UART) receivers do bind with those packet rates.
So, the solution is to just set the packet rate to straight 250 or 500 (no D, F, or Full Res) in the elrs lua script in the transmitter and leave it there. I use straight 250 with both SPI and serial (UART) receivers.
The little nugget about setting the packet rate to non-D, F, or Full Res has shown up here and there in these fora. A reviewer on youtube commented about the stock D1000 on the Pocket.
So, hey Radiomaster!, change the stock packet rate to 250 and save people a lot of headache.
