not another "too common" issue with receiver
#1
hello Smile

i started to build drone, and as you already have guessed, i got a problem.

using betaflight app, Got
  • FLYSKY FS-I6 with FS-IA6 receiver
  • MAMBA F405 MK2 controller
+ binding with receiver was successful
+ wiring done (currently into ground, 5v, and RX3 port)
+ upgraded(tried almost every version) to latest version of FURYF4OSD
+ UART3 port is open(according to RX3 but tried all, even changed wiring)
+ receiver is in serial-based mode IBUS(tried PPM but i think IA6 does not supports. there was PPM configuration, turned on but nothing have change)
- could not upgrade FLYSKY I6 firmware itself, could not buy data cable coz of covid19 limitations Sad

could not get input into receiver tab. current channel map is AETR1234. any idea what to do?

Can you wire the receiver to the RX3, make your settings changes, and then post a dump file.

Please also post photos of the wiring and connections between the FS-IA6 to the Mamba F405 MK2 (once you've rewired it back up) so we can see with our own eyes exactly how it's been done which will remove any doubt from our side.

Your receiver is PWM only. Unfortunately your FC doesn't support PWM inputs. Here is a link to hack your receiver for IBUS. I have not read through the link yet. But I think BF has integrated the code for the hack.

I read through the thread on the hack. It doesn't appear to be a reliable hack. You can try it, but there is a risk of flyaway. I would just buy another receiver which has IBUS. Or better, see link for all the Flysky receiver options.
