Nice looking motors for a 3"er build

rcinpower 1303 motors

Albert Kim seems to like them, they are 12N14P too! Sure they will be in the usual shops before long.

They look nice in 6000kv and 8000kv, but those 11500kv ones are crazy high on the amp draw. You would have to run a stack to use them with some of those props.

But the 6000kv stuff looks nice. 13.8A on GF2540-3 is usable with say the Darwin 15A AIO and more than powerful enough for a 100g 2.5" micro.

meh

As always, rcinpower are great quality, and 5.6g is light for 1303.

BUT.. those are just weird KV options.
Need 4500kv for 4S.

1303 is comparable to rcinpower 1204, which has far thicker winding and lower ohms.

I think a lot of RCinP stuff runs too hot. I've run GF D51 on my 1202.5 and they never come down hot, but on most of those motors they are coming down at 80C+.

I could never see me using anything but the 6000kv or 8000kv motors. But if I was considering them for a 3", why wouldn't I use a 14xx or 15xx motor instead? I could probably get one that was cheaper and worked just as well, plus didn't eat power like crazy.
