For anyone who didn't already realise, a new version of the OpenTX LUA scripts (1.2.0) were released for Betaflight 4.x. Plus the devs have also made a minor update to the blackbox viewer (now 3.3.1) . I've added links for both into the first post of this thread.

Wont it be nice to have some option to display OSD items in custom colors.
For eg, getting Horizon Bars displayed in some bright colors, may help a beginner FPV flyer.
Submitted a feature request.

It is not possible to have color because the overlay chip is a Max7456. It only does character based in white. To be able to do color, manufacture will need to use a different graphic chip and BF developers will need to completely rewrite the OSD.

Looks like we finally get a stable release where it doesn't take hours on end to get a decent tune for 6"-7" quads. I'll be fiddling around on the weekend
