Hello everyone. I’m from a town in Central Ca. I am surrounded by wineries and vineyards. I have flown and built gas powered RC airplanes and electric RC helicopters years ago. I do have a small cheap drone, but looking to upgrade shortly to a bigger and better drone. My wife is encouraging me in this hobby, which is awesome. I have been shopping around and would like to do some more research prior to a purchase. I am torn between the DJI system and the Fat Shark Dominator HD. I am also studying for my part 107. I look forward to meeting some people and learning. Have a great day.

Mike

Welcome, I'm just north of you in Galt.

The HD FPV section of this forum has a wealth of knowledge regarding HD systems. They've all schooled me just yesterday!

Good Morning, that is close. My wife and I just ate at the Velvet Grill there, it’s one of our go-to places. Where do you fly?

I know, hard choice. Lol. I heard there might be an announcement from DJI soon in regards to something related to goggles. I am trying to convince my wife to let me buy one of each…. Lol… wish me luck with that….. lol…

Nice, I have been flying just the fpv sims right now. I have been looking to seeing if you can fly at any parks like Oak Grove, or at Lodi Lake or at Mickey Grove as well.
