TBS just released 2 new VTX, both with MMCX connector and capable to transmit at 1W. The race version looks really nice, almost like an SD card. https://www.team-blacksheep.com/products...ace_mmcx_s https://www.team-blacksheep.com/products...hv_race2_m A week ago I ordered the "old" unify pro V3 and it arrived today.. • Posts: 3,533 Threads: 265 Likes Received: 2,610 in 1,545 posts Likes Given: 3,893 Joined: Feb 2018 Reputation: 78 21-Dec-2018, 03:26 PM (This post was last modified: 21-Dec-2018, 03:31 PM by Krohsis.) The new RDQ Mach 3 has basically the same specs, is shown to have excellent reception out to 8 miles and is half the price. Dude, where's my quad? • Posts: 1,013 Threads: 11 Likes Received: 452 in 349 posts Likes Given: 372 Joined: Dec 2017 Reputation: 16 I like that new race version, nice and tidy! • Posts: 331 Threads: 47 Likes Received: 114 in 84 posts Likes Given: 76 Joined: Oct 2017 Reputation: 1 I need this... I guess you can buy the mounting board for another $6. I also don't like the port harness. I prefer soldering pads. That is why I would probably like the Race 2 better. But I have moved away from TBS. The other handful of VTXs I used performed just as well. I agree on the board if you have the room. I've used the AKK FX2 a couple times, makes for a very kleen build Dude, where's my quad? • Posts: 3,533 Threads: 265 Likes Received: 2,610 in 1,545 posts Likes Given: 3,893 Joined: Feb 2018 Reputation: 78 Anyone know who makes the Mach 3 for RDQ? • Posts: 5,322 Threads: 673 Likes Received: 3,159 in 1,747 posts Likes Given: 2,032 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 139 21-Dec-2018, 11:03 PM (This post was last modified: 21-Dec-2018, 11:04 PM by Oscar.) I have an "AKK X2" and "Oscar's Backpack" that are great performers! The X2 is MMCX and pushes 800mw for under $20usd. The "AKK FX2-ultimate" is a mountable (30.5x30.5) board and is under $25usd and will push 1000mw. AKK is hard to beat! SoCal Kaity :D OMG, no one told me it would be this much fun!
