0 Hey everyone,
Just thought I’d say hi. I’m from the UK and am fairly new to quadcopters. It started with a tiny indoor quad with no fpv or anything but it got me hungry for more. I bought a BNF Eachine Racer 250 for a steal, it’d never been flown but it’s ready now (when I get a chance!). I also bought the Eachine Tyro79 which I still need to build. I always struggle for time (family and work demands!) but I see it as a marathon rather than a sprint.
Hope to contribute over time!
Thanks!

11 Welcome,
I like your life view. I think the fall/winter is a great time to get involved because there is time to get a little experience and then time to step back, build and learn for the spring. You may want to try the simulators if you are going to do FPV, they helped a lot. Much less frustrating after a crash to hit the reset button instead of picking up the pieces and going to the bench. I used Freerider (free). There is also Liftoff, velocity, Drl and Im sure others.
You will find this forum to have friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help pilots. Every time i get stumped i come here and have always received
quick responses that have solved my issues.

1 Welcome, it's great see see another Brit get into the hobby.
I'm still a novice i consider, After a year of flying when i can, The weathers always good when I'm working :-)
I love the eachine UK65 (65mm) for winter indoor fpv and have found it good for learning throttle control.
This hobby has taught me to be more patient ;-).
Good luck ;-)

0 Cheers for the welcome gents, really looking forward to delving in (usually head first) deeper into the FPV world. I do have a sim on the laptop and use my Flysky FS-i6X with it at whatever opportunity I get. I’ve got Eachine 007 Pro googles, which I know aren’t the best, but they should hopefully get my foot in the door, so to speak.
