[New FPV Simulator] Orqa FPV.SkyDive
#1
Orqa made an announcement just over an hour ago about a new FPV simulator they have an Early Access release of their new FPV.SkyDive simulator. Details are in the video below.

It is currently available for FREE on the Steam platform at the following link. This simulator is still currently under development so don't expect a finished or polished product just yet. It's not clear if it will always be free, or if that is only during the Early Access period, but I guess we will find out in due course.

Why would someone develop a 32bit only game these days? Unfortunately that means I can't play it Sad

Interesting, despite all the warnings from steam that this is 32bit only and should not run on my computer, it does seem to work. Odd.

What computer are you running? I don't know anything about Macs, but all 64-bit Windows computers have always had a 32-bit subsystem for running 32-bit programs, and you can even run 16-bit programs if you enable the NT Virtual DOS Machine feature.

Apple recently decided to rip the bandaid off and removed support for running 32-bit software in their latest OS.

So another kick in the teeth from Apple. I'm glad I dumped their overpriced and under performing products (compared to the competition) years ago. They milk their customers for everything they can and then just leave them high and dry. As you can tell, I'm an Apple fanboy...NOT Big Grin

Thanks. Just installed hoping for a miracle but... my pc can't handle it.
Even on 1/8 resolution and 1024x768 it just drops below 50fps and it always feel drifty to me.
Kudos to Orqa for putting one more tool out for new or experienced pilots.

The price is the best part of this simulator :S I played liftoff for a long time and DRL simulator recently but in this simulator is something about throttle that just isn't right :S maybe it's me but physics isn't the best. I hope they work on it, fix some issues, add more drones and the possibility to tune your quad... but I think if you spend at least 100$ for controller that you spend a 25$ more to buy better simulator Big Grin

I agree, I don't know if it is because I messed with the rates or what, but the throttle seems weird.  Like it is both too fast and responsive and unresponsive at the same time.
