Upload any flight videos to YouTube, Vimeo, or AirVuz and then just post the URLs to those back here Cool

Hmmm ? now I have to figure out how to load picsTongue

Not really a thing unless you are claiming an achievement or looking for bragging rights.  if you enjoyed it, that's all that matters.

Pics can be attached to posts.  Videos as Snow mentioned can be uploaded to Youtube or Vimeo or Airvuz and embedded into posts.  I prefer Vimeo for quality, but you dont get a lot of space on the free package.  Youtube just mangles the quality.  To get vimeo to embed you need to specify it in the bbcode, so [ video=vimeo ]my url[ /video ] or at least it doesn't work for me unless I do that.  Youtube on the other hand is automatic.

For YouTube uploads, re-render any 720p or 1080p footage to be 4K. Doing that then forces YouTube to use their VP9 encoder which uses less compression so your video doesn't get mangled as much.

I'm the same as Pathfinder with regards to uploading videos. I don't think many people are particularly interested in watching someone else's mediocre flight footage, so I don't usually consider it worth the bother editing, re-rendering and uploading flight footage unless I think it might be something of particular interest to others, and these days I only usually watch footage from other pilots if it's from someone highly skilled who is showing off some impressive flying skills and/or breath taking scenery. All of the flying I do is for my own pleasure. I occasionally show some of the footage to my family, but even they don't always seem particularly interested in my hobby Big Grin

Yessir, no quad pilot wants to see my flying, LOL. I do have a blast and always have my old Headplay around in case a non flyer wants to see what it's about though. I was just so psyched that I (we!) got it flying that I wanted to post a picture. FWIW Mike at Flight Club made some cool looking quads.
To that end I could upload and attach the pics to my post but when I hit preview, or post, the picture disappeared. I've since moved on Wink

Like I said, computers are just not my bag. .jpg is fine but originally I sent the pic from my phone to my Mac and it was a .HEIC file? So it wouldn't attach.
