I would do 2950kv 3016. I never tried 6S on a 3 inch before.

I have received my new 1504.5 3950kv Brotherhobby motors (for my Katana-LR4 build). You can just barely read the lettering on the motors, but it is them. These are pretty hefty motors in both size and weight. I went with the higher kv model for this build (figure I can turn down the kv if I need or want to, but I probably won't). 

Follow the Katana-LR4 build for progress.
