Need some advise connecting RX to F411 MINI FC in Homfpv wingsuit S
#1
Good evening from the Netherlands.

Title says it all.
I have the scematics so that's ok.
That shows me to connect RX to a litte 4 contact connector of only about 5 x 2 mm. I do not have such a connector. It is to small to solder there.

Normally it is easy to spot pads to solder somwhere else.
There are pads ofcourse. Leads, beeper etc.

The text or letters don't help me with this one.
I can find pos. And grnd. But where to put the signal wire.
It is a Spektrum receiver with only ONE wire for s and tx ( for osd etc)
On other FC it had to got to the Tx pad and not receiver S

Hope someone can help.
Thanks

Unfortunately it looks like the only UART1 connections on the TransTEC F411 Mini FC are in that 4-pin receiver connector...

https://homfpv.com/products/transtec-f41...controller

Those are usually JST connectors and you can buy pre-made pigtails with the required JST connector already crimped to one end, so that would be your best option. To identify which type of JST connector it is, take a look a the following post and measure the pin spacing in the 4-pin receiver connector on your TransTEC F411 Mini FC.

That site says the TransTec board has a "1x JST-SH 1.0_4pin connector for Receiver"

Here are some on amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/daier-Micro-4-Pin...B01DUC1M2O

or here on Banggood with the plug at each end:
