I have a new nazgul evoque F5 analog 6s quad. With crossfire receiver. I binded to my radimaster tx12 with XF Micro v2 module. al setup, but no inputs in betaflight. What is wrong with it? Can you help me? This is my betaflight dump: https://pastebin.com/gAbBVHzP • Posts: 1,506 Threads: 49 Likes Received: 714 in 525 posts Likes Given: 478 Joined: Oct 2020 Reputation: 93 In the future, please create a new thread as it makes it easier for us to help you It looks like your config is correct for a Crossfire receiver connected to RX2/TX2. Can you post a clear photo of your wiring between the RX and FC? Ch1 on your receiver should be going to the RX2 pad on your FC, and Ch1 should be set to CRSF TX in Agent X/Agent M for your receiver. • Posts: 22 Threads: 9 Likes Received: 1 in 1 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jan 2022 Reputation: 0 29-Jan-2022, 11:40 PM (This post was last modified: 30-Jan-2022, 05:52 PM by lew046.) I checked " BLITZ Mini F7 Flight Controller v1.0" wiring diagram for TBS nano: https://shop.iflight-rc.com/BLITZ-Mini-F...er-Pro1670 it wired top to bottom: white (CH2, connected to T2), yellow (CH1, connected to R2), red (5V) , black (GND) but mine looks like this: yellow, white, red, black so is it bad wiring in the factory? I ordered this from banggod as BNF drone (Nazgul evoque F5 with crossfire reciever. ) • Posts: 1,506 Threads: 49 Likes Received: 714 in 525 posts Likes Given: 478 Joined: Oct 2020 Reputation: 93 I can't see any wiring through the frame. Can you remove the FC from the frame or take a better picture that clearly shows the wiring and what pads they are connected to? • Posts: 22 Threads: 9 Likes Received: 1 in 1 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jan 2022 Reputation: 0 I checked FC and XF nano connection the rx-tx was swapped. I changed that so now exactly that is the situation like the wiring diagam below. but still no stick input. I set on XF nano RSSI to dest. channel 7, in betaflight set to show at AUX3, now it says RSSI = 50% but is should be 99% i think. • Posts: 3,288 Threads: 129 Likes Received: 2,740 in 1,644 posts Likes Given: 2,969 Joined: Apr 2017 Reputation: 65 You should not have to set RSSI to an AUX channel with the Crossfire RX. Switch it to "DISABLED" in your Receiver tab. If you try to assign it to an AUX channel, you will be reading a switch and it will read 49%-51% all the time. Only a few of the older RX's required the AUX channel and then it was set in that receivers firmware to CHAN16. None fo the TBS RX's do it this way. SoCal Kaity :D OMG, no one told me it would be this much fun! Addicted :) • Posts: 22 Threads: 9 Likes Received: 1 in 1 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jan 2022 Reputation: 0 (30-Jan-2022, 06:10 PM)kaitylynn Wrote: You should not have to set RSSI to an AUX channel with the Crossfire RX. CH1 (TX) from the Crossfire Nano RX (the white wire) needs to go to the R2 pin in the FC socket, and CH2 (RX) from the Crossfire Nano RX (the yellow wire) needs to go to the T2 pin in the FC socket. So swap those two wires around. I soldered but still no luck. I have 6.13 firmware on my micro tx v2. Is that need any recalibration? • Posts: 21,294 Threads: 589 Likes Received: 8,982 in 6,647 posts Likes Given: 1,426 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 789 There is nothing to calibrate with Crossfire. Check to see if the bars for the sticks in the CHANNEL MONITOR page on your transmitter are moving when you move the sticks. That will then confirm if the 4 stick channels are actually sending any outputs to the Crossfire module. Also, run the Crossfire or TBS Agent Lite LUA script on your transmitter and under the Output Map check that Output 1 is set to CRSF TX and Output 2 is set to CRSF RX. • Posts: 22 Threads: 9 Likes Received: 1 in 1 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jan 2022 Reputation: 0 (30-Jan-2022, 08:37 PM)SnowLeopardFPV Wrote: There is nothing to calibrate with Crossfire. Output Map OK. Still no luck. I updated crossfire to 6.14 (used 6.13 earlier) but nothing changed. • Posts: 21,294 Threads: 589 Likes Received: 8,982 in 6,647 posts Likes Given: 1,426 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 789 Other than trying a different UART for the Crossfire Nano RX then I am out of ideas. Maybe there is something wrong with the FC. As this is a BNF quad you would be best advised to just contact the vendor and ask for a replacement or refund under warranty because the quad you bought should just be "bind and fly" as it says on the box. You shouldn't have to be sorting out incorrect wiring or trying to work around a possible faulty FC. • Posts: 4,550 Threads: 38 Likes Received: 1,245 in 1,064 posts Likes Given: 430 Joined: Aug 2020 Reputation: 118 Not that this may help much but if you can try the Crossfire Emergency Firmware update forst and then bind to update the firmware this maybe worth a shot: https://kamikatze-fpv.de/tbs-crossfire-emergency-update • Posts: 22 Threads: 9 Likes Received: 1 in 1 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jan 2022 Reputation: 0 (31-Jan-2022, 02:59 AM)kafie1980 Wrote: Not that this may help much but if you can try the Crossfire Emergency Firmware update forst and then bind to update the firmware this maybe worth a shot: https://kamikatze-fpv.de/tbs-crossfire-emergency-update It seem crossifire micro and Xf nano reciever works perfectly. I upgraded now my Emax TH 2 freestyle and works good. It was 3 clicks in BF, turned on UART1 serial port set CRSF and done. (latest 6.14 crossfire fw) So my nazgul f5 FC is probably bad or need to reflash the firmware • Posts: 22 Threads: 9 Likes Received: 1 in 1 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jan 2022 Reputation: 0 (31-Jan-2022, 01:55 AM)SnowLeopardFPV Wrote: Other than trying a different UART for the Crossfire Nano RX then I am out of ideas. Is it possible if i reflash the FC betaflight it will work? it is strange none of uart2 or uart3 not works. I tried another nano to UART3 and still not works, no stick input. (Crossfire binds flawlessly but no stick input). I upgraded my emax tinyhawk2 freetyle with the same reciever and that works good. • |
