Hey friends and peers. This website and community has been so amazing. I've built about 4/5 builds now and feel pretty competent to put together whatever, but I'm now looking to do a new build with specific requirements and I Wanted your help thoughts

1. I want something small (3") or so that can carry a session/full sized gopro
2. I want to fly it on 6s for the power gains for stability
3. I dont want or need it to fly fast
4. I'm wanting to do more slow proximity grazing type flights - I think of slowly gliding through a flower garden inches above the ground or slowly grazing through cherry blossoms or blooms on a dogwood in the spring time

5.  I'm hoping to be able to use a normal gopro. I haven't stepped into the decased gopro realm and am wanting to avoid that if possible.
6. I'm hoping to produce super slow cinematic video that feels like you're riding on a bumblebee


What are your thoughts and recommendations? What do you think would fit the above?

1 vote for the tycan, diatone build quality is from ok to very nice. all betafpv products i had was full of issues..

overall your mentioned points, the nice small cruiser you might like just doesnt work with a full gopro, there is a rotorsize where more weight doesnt can be carried nicely by bigger motors. the diatone hey tina whoop is impressive in terms of rotorsize and ability to carry weight.
i would step away from 6s and a fullsize gopro, go for 3-4s and a deceased gopro. its good about cruising and handling, there is no need for 6s about rotorauthority. touches to anything are much more gently. the best of all is the lower noise, peoples around will spend less attantion and move more natural in the vids xD

i believe you will need go go for 3inch, even better 3,5" to get nice results on a full gopro about handling, you will land on the weight of a 5inch, just to carry the unneeded parts of the gopro: protection, battery, screen, gps... that +100g not needed forbthe good gopro image quality.


i actual fly a 2,8" cinewhoop with deceased hero6, i like it a lot.
i fly am trying a stupid-4inch cinewhoop with 5blades and some 2306 motors xD its 340g without lipo. it ciuld carry heavy cams.... unsure if i like it in anyway xD

i bought a used hero6 for 200bucks, it was not that difficult, good tutorials are outthere. decease by yourself does make sense as you will need to be able to do some changes by the original touchscreend, re attache it temporary...

betafpv does actual sell the insta360r(?) deceased, if you dont like to work on a gopro and hunting a good offer for a used one :-) i wouldnt buy it as its from betafpv, butbi dont know others provide deceased cans

what are your thoughts on something like a shendrone's nutmet or a cinerat ? I dont want another huge drone and I think that's what I'm struggling with. I really want a pocket sized 2k flyer that I can get 3 minutes of gentle cruising. There is always give and take I guess. I'm trying to give as little as possible..haha.
