Mamba diatone F405 mini mk2 caddx vista osd issues

All - first time posting to this forum, been reading for a bit on my problem, but not a single solution worked so far, my FC is a diatone F405 mini mk2, connected my elrs rx to UART3 and caddx vista to UART6, checked OSD settings in config, but still don't get OSD in the goggles ( have fpv wtf installed and did change the CLI settings accordingly), things I tried:

* checked that both UARTS work, flipped the RX from UART3 to UART6 and the RX works on that either UART
* currently I have to connect rx to rx, tx to tx for the RX to work, tried flipping it for the vista, still no OSD
* have enabled custom OSD in goggles
* even tried the method to map PPM/LED resources and enabled soft serial to get OSD to work, still nothing

Did you setup canvas mode in betaflight?
Here’s a great instructional video on how to set it up.
It walks through setting up wtf all the way through setting it up in betaflight.
