Just over a year in the hobby....
#1
I've been in this hobby just over a year.  When I joined here I owned a DJI Spark that I played around with.  Not any more....

Because of the friendly advice, patience, and unbelievable amount of knowledge the members here have shared, my understanding and abilities have grown to unexpected levels.  I've been able to draw my brother into the hobby as well.  (I'm FAR from a pro, but I'm still learning)

With this aforementioned knowledge gained, I've built five total ground up quads.  Four 5" with one being for my brother, and a 3".  And now I'm on my way to building a 10" mini-X, with massive help and input from Krohsis, if that's even a real thing.

The fleet has grown from the one Spark, to now include a 5" Rooster, 5" Badger, 5" Phreakstyle Slam, 3" Gecko, Tinyhawk, Tinyhawk S, and a Mobula7HD.  With more to come for sure.

When you add up goggles, radio, spare parts and hardware, upgrade parts, and build costs I'm out several thousand dollars.  But I can honestly say that it is money well spent and without regret.  I've spent more on things that I haven't enjoyed nearly as much.

I'm terrible at "liking" posts and "rating" members, so I'm sorry for that.  I try.  Just know the gratitude is there.

So thank you to the entire community here.

Deal

p.s.  Now that I think about it, I don't know if I should thank you guys or blame you, hehe....
Here's the Deal

10" 6S FR10-G Long Range, 5" 6S Rooster, 5" 6S Badger, 5" 6S QAV-S, 5" 4S Badger, 5" 4S Phreakstyle Slam, 5" 6S Yema, 5" 4S Stark, 3" 4S Gecko, and a 3S 2.5" Tadpole, all of which are Crossfire.  Tinyhawk, Tinyhawk S, and a DJI Spark.  And projects on the bench....

In just one year??? Wow man you really dove head first! Kudos to you!

I think I was still trying to figure out how my ebay china gimbal worked so I could use it on my ebay phantom after my first year lol.
