Jumper T16 Pro Bad Radio Data
#1
FYI - I am brand new to this.  I recently got a Jumper T16 Pro and am trying to upload models using OpenTX.  The Jumper T16 came with vers. 2.3.2 and I downloaded OpenTX 2.3.2.  I followed a number of videos and setup the radio, added a model and with my radio on and plugged into the computer I clicked write models to radio and I clicked read models from radio and it looks like the model transferred to the radio on the PC.  I unplug and a warning for bad radio data pops up, and the model I created is not showing up on the radio.  I have searched the internet and found many people with the same problem.  I have tried many ways to troubleshoot and can't figure it out.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I just want to fly!

You may need first to update the bootloader firmware on the internal module.  See T-Mac's video below (and see the link in the video description to the RC Groups thread detailing the proceedure):

Also, OpenTX does not support Jumper T16 in the official release (unless something changed in the last 2 days).  You would have to use the 2.3.3 nightlies to get Jumper T16 support.

Finally, if you are getting the "Emergency Mode" message after transferring models, you may want to check out this video:

Thanks for your help. After two days of trying to figure out how to transfer models. I finally got it to work. I downloaded the firmware from OpenTX Companion which I think is the X10S firmware and flashed the firmware to the Jumper T16 Pro. Even though I had the latest version on the Jumper T16 that included OpenTX (I got it less than week ago) it wasn't talking to OpenTX, so I had to get the firmware from OpenTX. It didn't work when I tried using the firmware from the Jumper website.

Do you have any more info on this? Is it still working. Did you use a nightly? Did you lose any functions? I see that the firmware that came on the new radio has a few more options than what we can get from opentx. Also, when I try to download the firmware I get an "Invalid Board" warning and the FW does not DL.

I won't be the last one looking at this. I just got my radio from TBS at the end of Nov from the newest batch that I waited a month for so a bunch of us are just seeing this issue. Anything you can provide is more than we have now. Thank you.
