JHEMCU GEHF405 Flashing to Bluejay
#1
Thanks for looking.  New guy and just finished my first build.  As I was setting things up in betaflight I came to understand that I cant take advantage of bidirectional DSHOT with this AIO ESC as its running BLHELI_S.  Is it possible to flash the ESCs on the 2-in-ine FC to Bluejay, not brick it, and still maintain betaflight compatibility?

I have seen the videos and the website where I can either download the utility or flash directly from the online interface but am concerned as this is an AIO and not just a straight ESC board.

If its a risk, I'll survive, as while I would like to take advantage of what bluejay offers if it puts the craft in an un-flyable state, kinda defeats the purpose.

Thanks in advance.

Yes you can flash Bluejay which applies to the ESC on the AIO. Betaflight will remain unchanged on the flight controller on the AIO.

You will need to plug in a battery to access the ESC to read/write to it. Close the betaflight app while doing so because you can only connect to one at a time. Depending on what VTX you have it may be a good idea to run a fan to keep it cool while flashing the esc.
