Awwww, thanks. You made me feel all warm and fuzzy

Y’all have helped me to figure all of this stuff out and y’all still help me figure it all out, the least I can do is pass the knowledge on.

“The least I can do” is an odd statement. The least I can do is take information and take help and then disappear into the wind, so, maybe there’s a better way to state that.

I’ll think about it while I’m drinking and flying later.

Kids, don’t drink and fly. Tongue

I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

Funnily enough, if you want to fly better, this is exactly what you should do.

I mean look at botgrinder. He is the poster child for why you should be inebriated while flying or doing anything.

Big Grin

I try not to be judgemental, but all too often appearance really does matter, especially when you are a very visible and active public facing part of a sport to officialdom who don't have the best track record of tolerence and not jumping to conclusions. Thinking

I'm old, dull and boring, nothing to see here Mr Policeman/Mr CAA......pass on by.............(I drive a Skoda, do you like my tartan fleece dressing gown and fur lined slippers?  9pm?  Got to dash, time for Cocoa and bed, is the water bottle in Mildred?).   Dodgy

Hi Lemony,

Good Job, Man.  Thumbs Up

Hi BadRaven,

I am also Old, Dull, and Boring; but that didn't prevent a sheriff's deputy who is involved
with drones and the FAA from stopping, coming up to us, and questioning us. Although he
didn't actually accuse us of anything, it was clear that his intentions seemed to be more
about what and how I was flying than anything else. He even questioned whether or not
my spotter was trained. That's right. Plus, this guy was Old, like me. It doesn't matter what
you look like, but rather what you are doing. For me, it wasn't so much about the encounter,
but rather that there WAS an encounter. It just shows that you never know when you are
out at a public place where there are people.

I’ve still got a long way to go to contribute anywhere near as much as you and Snow have to this community. Smile

I am glad to see you active again, I’ve learned quite a bit from your older posts.
