If you have general questions or just don't know how you want to begin,
start a thread in the "Beginners" section where it will get noticed and 
members will help you. For questions about a specific area, just start a 
thread in the appropriate section. 

If you have not yet decided on what direction you want to go,
start a HELP thread, before you buy anything. 

Sounds like you already have soldering skills, so that is good. The ability
to solder is almost a necessity. Even BNF (Bind aNd Fly) or RTF (Ready
To Fly) quads need to be repaired from time to time.
