Kinda figured I was going to fail this week’s challenge, I was definitely doing more yawing than rolling on those “split-s”.

Hi Lemony...  its my meteor 75 (2021 edition) with the NBD Cockroach frame with the carbon plate.

Bummer man... but on the other hand its a good feedback, to have someone kind of evaluate/critique our flaws so that we can work on them..

Yeah, I’m not complaining. I knew I was going to fail it, and now I know I need more speed and a proper throttle blip to do a split-s.

This week’s challenge is power loops, and I’ve got those down.

I can’t seem to do a power loop inside. My fingers aren’t quick enough. I end up doing a sideways “C” straight into the ground.

I did the last packs, cuts and post earlier today, trying to improve the workflow on this video editing thing, it can get quite time consuming by itself.

There are some really solid advices on the discord channel on how to go about it..  basically its broken into 3 parts; 1 - practice throteling up to the cealing and catching yourself,  try to go as fast as you can manage up and then drop.  Keep at until you're comfortable with the movement.  2 - Apply the first part on a maverik, were you throttle backwards over the obstacle and the pitch forward to go under it. Same as before, practice this a bit to get used to it 3 - Go for the  loop...

Thanks for the pointers, cst3x6! I’ll hafta give that a try this weekend (after I do same yaw spins) to see I can manage a power loop under my carport.

I can relate so much to this(power looping inside)!! 
Dont know if that is a bad thing but working on it. I have gotten it a few times!
I can tell you have been practicing by the grass stains on the guards!

cst3x6- yeah, I’ve pretty much got that power loop over the carport/gap thing down. I can usually do a tighter and more proper loop now with my 3s micros, but this guy is a heavy 2s only, so I gave myself extra time to catch myself.

Dober- yeah, I’ve mown the grass with this thing a *lot*. Those ducts have also been glued multiple times, at least one of them is barely hanging on at this point.

I could imagine. The heavier the quad the worse the crashes I would imagine. Yeah I can see that about igow because you kinda have to learn by just doing it within a weeks time!
