Identifying MOSFET's and finding a replacement
#1
Hello,

I am quite new to FPV building, but I managed to build my own quad at the beginning of this year. Unfortunately (as is implied with the FPV hobby Wink ) I managed to break some things due to some stupid mistakes. So now I have two ESCs laying around that I want to try and fix myself with a hot air rework station.

I did some tests with my multimeter and found 1 MOSFET to be broken on my Diatone Mamba F50_BL32 and 3 MOSFETs broken on my Diatone Mamba F50_BLS. Looking at the MOSFETS I found the following numbers:

F50_BL32: D1534M SD UB74
F50_BLS: C2 G013N03 A1J13LS1A

Googling these numbers didn't really give any results that I could use. I don't even know the brand of the MOSFETs, though the ones on the BLS do have some kind of logo (see the second picture). Can anyone tell me which brand MOSFETS these are and possibly where I can get any replacements?

Of course, there is a good chance that I am not able to get the exact parts. In that case, what parameters do I need to take into account to find a replacement (or do you have any suggestions for a replacement)?

When looking at the Diatone website for the F50_BLS (2021 C1): https://www.diatone.us/products/mamba-f5...c-40a-6s-2
In the pictures, different types of MOSFETs are used than on my version (2021 K2) but I do believe these are Toshiba MOSFETs.

Furthermore, I found another F50_BL32 picture online that uses the same MOSFETs as the BLS, except for a different number on the end, but I do believe these batch numbers? As a last resort, if these are the same I believe I might be able to use the MOSFETs of the BLS on the BL32?

Thanks in advance for taking a look at my problem and trying to help me!

It really sucks you burned/damaged so many.

Your ESC look barely used.
If you have a hot air rework station, you should be able to fix your ESC boards.

I think the number at the end is batch and doesnt matter. The different FET they swapped is probably same Vgs etc. Interchangable.

I have always found this list to be very inclusive.

https://www.elnec.com/en/support/ic-logos/?method=logo

But I did not see your chips logo Sad

Found a datasheet for one of them: http://www.chipsourcetek.com/Uploads/fil...etV1.0.pdf

Thanks guys!

Thank @sevro! I also found that one but I wasn't sure it was the same one because of the second row of numbers but that are probably batch numbers.

@Scott To bad the logo isn't in that database. I think I will try to find a similar type.

@romangpro I indeed don't have much flight time on the esc's Sad but euhm... You mentioned Vgs has to be the same. What other parameters should be identical if I would want to find a replacement?

Thanks again for all the replies!

I found the manufacturer. For anyone that might need it in the future, the manufacturer of the MOSFETs is Huayi and I was able to get the parts on LCSC: https://lcsc.com/product-detail/MOSFETs_...63405.html

I'll post an update on the performance when I receive them and put them on my ESC's.
