Finding a D-Shot compatible ESC that can handle 200A+ current
#1
Hi,

I am designing a large, high-performance multi-rotor system which requires high current capacity ESC's. After some research, D-shot ESC's would be a good step forward to get better flight performance.

Any ideas of what ESC's are currently on the market that are compatible with D-shot protocols (D-Shot 150-600)?

Cheers,

Harry.

It's quite hard to get high current BLheli ESC's. Most of the bigger stuff is proprietary and expensive.

What voltage are you wanting to run?
I'm really IntoFPV

I am aiming to run 100v between 8 motors.

To do this I will be looking at combining in series to get the voltage and parallel to reach the required capacity.

APD have ESC up to 200A and will run Dshot. They are not Blheli32, but uses a proprietary firmware. There is nothing else on the Blheli32 side that supports more than 80A. Even these ESC will not handle 100V.
