Hello all, this is my first post, although I've been lurking for a while as my Google searches typically end up here.
I have an ISDT Q6 Nano charger which I have had no issues with. However, it has recently started struggling to balance charge all of the cells of my 6S lipos. If I charge a battery, cells 2-6 will charge normally to 4.2v, however, cell 1 will lag behind and at best only charge to 4.15v. I've even seen it where cell 1 ends up losing voltage, and the charging process never completes no matter how long I leave it. I recently got two brand new 6S lipos and on the first charge cell 1 only went to 4.15v whilst the others went to 4.2v. Last night I charged one up and cell 1 ended up at 4.09v and the others at 4.2v.
I've used a multimeter (albeit not calibrated probably as it was a cheap unit off Amazon) and the readings are pretty much the same as what the charger reads.
I'm using a ToolkitRC ADP100 power supply and no parralel charging board.
-------
I'm looking at either the ToolkitRC M7 or ToolkitRC M6D as a replacement. The M6D is twice the price, but I like the idea of being able to charge two lipos at a time. Any thoughts on these? I'm sure ISDT are a good brand, but I don't plan on buy another one of their chargers at this time.
