23 I'm going to anyway. Any one have any idea why cleanflight would fail to see the stick input from my transmitter if the OSD (minimosd micro) is plugged into the RX/TX pins of the board (Naze32 full rev6)? If I unplug the OSD, stick input returns. I have not been able to find any reference to this particular issues. Ideas/comments/clarification/ridicule?? Any help would be appreciated....I'm befuddled.....

139 Minimosd drawing too much current? Are you powering all of them with your USB?

23 31-Mar-2016, 04:10 PM (This post was last modified: 31-Mar-2016, 04:18 PM by sirdude.) I am using the overdraft PDB and it has a set of pin holes specifically to power the OSD. I have soldered a plug in that and pins onto the board and plug it in there. I THINK (don't have the schematics to look at with me) that is powered by the onboard 5v regulator which is also powering the FC.....too much?
Follow up...When on line and found a schematic that has the OSD and FC both hooked up the way I have them hooked up. I don't THINK it's a case of excessive current draw....but who knows...... "Damn the torpedoes!!! Full speed ahead!!!"

23 FC is the naze32 full rev 6
RX is the FrSky X8R
OSD is hooked up as shown in the attached pic, except that the FC shown is a rev 5 acro...I think. In any case, it's hooked to UART 1. As soon as I disconnect, my stick input comes back......

2 Could it have anything to do with how you have configured your ports?

23 Sure...I suppose anything is possible......I know that UART 1 is shared with the USB and I have it hooked to the PC for testing when this happens. I am wondering if it has something to do with that, except that I would think it would just shut down the OSD, not the stick input? Hell, I don't know.

23 Correct, SBUS on UART2 (pin four on the input rail)
