How to find others in my area?
#1
How do I find other pilots in my area?  Are there clubs listed anywhere?
Kinda surprised how few of us there are...  haha!

I'm in South Orange County CA.

Just curious!
Thanks!
Sam

Join the DroneNation app. This forum seems pretty dead. You will find a ton of guys to chat with local or not on the app.

This forum certainly isn't "dead". There might not be people on here who are in your particular area, but there plenty of active members from all over the globe and often over 100 posts per day. No, it's not Facebook or Discord but at least you can find something again when you need it rather than it being lost in the abyss of an infinite scrolling thread.

I hate to say it because I hate it but Facebook is a good place to meet pilots as well. There are many Facebook groups in my area and some of the some of the coolest pilots I have met are from Facebook. I have met some great people on this forum as well and fly with them regularly.

This forum certainly is NOT DEAD. It is an excellent resource. The members are knowledgeable and helpful.
It is a GREAT place to find information, help, and guidance. There are members from all over the world with
a lot of difference perspectives. This is the BEST "Help" resource that I have found.

The forum is more like an Encyclopedia than a Comic Book. That is one of the things that make it GREAT.
