How do I adjust the Throttle gimbal tension on a RadioMaster TX16S?
#1
Apparently I have a newer model with V2 or V3 gimbals. Mine have multiple allen screws in the top of the gimbals. I watched several videos explaining how to remove the rear cover and adjust tension on the plates, but mine look nothing like the plates in the examples. My brand new Transmitter has a throttle stick which will literally droop all the way to the bottom under its own weight if it's left past half-way. I need to increase the tension. There is also no detent (no clicks) when increasing throttle, but that's OK. I just found it unusual because every other radio I've ever purchased has defaulted to a "clicky" throttle gimbal.
I do not have a video of the top of the gimbals, but here's a short video showing the internals (ignore the cat). Can anyone give me some advice on how to properly adjust these gimbals so my throttle stick isn't so loose. I really don't want to return this, as it's probably something simple.

You see the 2 metal tabs on the right side? The one furtest to the right has a small screw at the bottom. With this you can set the tension.

Far right (or whichever is to the outside of the radio) used to be the ratchet.

Does that tension bar look bent to anyone else? You could try swapping them over. You should be able to do without it on the other side since it's sprung.

The ground is for dead people.

The ratched is the metal tab with the notch about half way up. You can loosen this one entirely. This leaves the other tab touching the plastic radius below it to set the tension.

BTW. I'm guessing you're trying to setup for mode 2. If there is no ratched on your throttle gimbal you problaby been send an mode 1 radio (can't tell from you video). The actual throttle gimbal will be on the other side. If so... switch the setup to mode 2 first.
