What an awesome flight! Almost had the beach to yourself except for the cluster of surfers and a few walkers. Nice flight!

Love the little ones at the end enjoying your eyes in the sky Smile

Yea and the beach parking lots up here are still closed (which is great). Those kids were awesome but I need to be more careful - I'm pretty sure the little guy was about to try and pick up my drone while I was trying to turtle and that would've been bad.

I had 2 sheriff guys roll up on ATVs while I was gearing up at my car at the top of the cliff and I figure, ok here goes ... I put on my mask wave hi and they wave back and that was it lol. Then on my second pack I'm about to take off and a lifeguard rolls up in his truck and I'm, thinking ok here goes ... I wave and he just drives by lol. It was an awesome session!! That's awesome! What a cool spot - COVID has afforded us some really good times to fly.

Oh man I love watching flights over water. I clench my buttcheeks whenever I go over the tiniest pond in a park at the moment even though my quads haven't failsafed in forever and are rather reliable.

It feels so good to fly a new spot doesn't it? One day I'll get the balls to fly over large bodies of water....one day! Good stuff mate!

LOL @ clenched buttcheeks   ROFL

Dude totally same here.  And the last time I spent any signficant amount of time over water it was years ago with a Blackout Mini-H ... and it had a ESC failure and fell in!  So this time, I figure let's just take the bandage off real fast and go straight over the water on the first pack ... no guts no glory LOL.

Yes it does feel great to fly a new spot ... AFTERWARDS lol.  Before and during, I am very nervous that I'll get hassled by cops, get jumped or mugged (L.A. is wierd - there are rich houses but the area can still be dangerous), or lost the drone.  But yea, believe you me I had a huge grin on for the rest of the day.   Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Put some floaties on it and then you do not have to teach it to swim. The surfers can go get it for you Big Grin

I think they were up to something sketchy on that rock. They were all giddy and waving on my first flyby but then looked annoyed when I started orbiting them. Prolly wanted to smoke a quick doob or something on that rock. I surf so I knew it wasn't to get a jump on sets since they were breaking too far inside. Woulda been the prefect time for it now that I think about it the place was really empty and was a beautiful day for gettin irie on a rock in the middle of the ocean. LOLLL oops sorry guys.

I agree with Kaity, add some floats so it doesn't sink  Thinking .

The Acrobrat Duo got some serious upgrades. Holybro hardware now replaces all the iFlight electronics. Beefier 1408 Tmotors replaced the little NIN 1404s. And an 200 more mAh to give it the power it needs.

Screw sub250 lololol ... *this* is proper:
