Hi from a newbie in Australia
#1
Hi All,

Felix here, living in (a currently locked down) Melbourne, Australia and a new member to this forum. I've been eyeing off quadcopters for a while now, and have decided it's time to take the plunge and immerse myself in the FPV world. I  quite enjoy building and soldering (electrical engineering background), so would like to research / build / fly / break / fix / fly my first quadcopter for freestyle flying (at least initially), probably in that order...

I have a Spektrum DX7S transmitter from an r/c paraglider that I *ahem* lost which I plan to use. I am still doing lots of learning and research including searching through this forum, but am sure to have questions down the track, for which I will be grateful for the sharing of knowledge contained by members in this forum!

Thanks & happy flying,
Felix

Welcome. 4 more weeks to go fingerscrossed. Enough time to research and plan your new build.
