So, I bought a new quad with an R-XSR which had ACCESS 2.1.0 in it. I decided to update the firmware in my Taranis X9 Lite (and ISRM) without realizing that all my other quads would unbind as they mount XM+ and Jumper R1 receivers with ACCST pre 2.0, as well as my Mobula 6 which has an integrated D16 receiver. The problem is that although i can update all the external receivers to make them work again i can not update the Mobula 6 with the integrated receiver.
My questions are:

• Can i and should i downgrade the X9 Lite firmware and the R-XSR with ACCESS 2.1.0? As i said i dont know if downgrading the receiver or the transmitter is an option
  
• The other option: Can i or should i update all my receivers and put a serial/external receiver like an XM+ on the Mobula 6?

For the least amount of effort (i.e. not having to desolder and flash all of your receivers to ACCST 2.x.x and fitting an external receiver to the Mobula7), the best options IMO would be one of the following:-

1. Downgrade the ISRM module in your X9 Lite back to the 1.1.3 firmware version and flash your R-XSR to the pre-2.x.x ACCST firmware.
   
   
2. Leave your X9 Lite on ISRM 2.1.0 firmware and the R-XSR on ACCST 2.1.0 firmware, and instead get yourself a multi-protocol module that will be able to bind to the pre-2.x.x ACCST receivers in all your other quads. You will need one of the "LITE" multiprotocol modules for the X9 Lite. There is the Vantac MPM, the iRangeX IRX4 Lite and also the TBS MPM modules that will fit and work with the X9 Lite.

Thanks a lot for your answer @SnowLeopardFPV! I am trying to find the old firmware for the X9 Lite in the FrSky website but they only have ACCESS 2.1.0. Do you know any reliable sites where i can find older firmware for both the transmitter and the R-XSR? Thanks again!

I like the features you get with ACCESS. Personally I would do a multi protocol module for the whoops.
