While the learning curve is huge, the payoff is even bigger. There are a few racer here that are pretty talented. I started off interested primarily in racing, then got distracted by the idea of freestyle for a bit and now am finding myself interested in racing again. What's great is you don't really have to choose one or the other. I look forward to hearing more about what you're flying or planning to fly in the near future! carl.vegas Current Quads: Operational: Diatone GT2 200 In need of repair: Bumble Bee, tehStein, Slightly modified Vortex 250 • Posts: 12 Threads: 2 Likes Received: 2 in 2 posts Likes Given: 1 Joined: Aug 2017 Reputation: 1 (14-Aug-2017, 05:03 AM)Snuffypot11 Wrote: Hi Jo, Welcome to the forum, you've come to the right place to learn! I have 2 robocat 250 and 2 other sets ! Have a radiolink t9 and some goggles, I tried putting a set together with no luck! I can build the drone and get all the parts in place but can't get the remote to communicate with the controller board! I can see the controller in cleanflight . I have fried 2 cc3d boards ..and just upgraded to naze32 .. so all this is new for me! Especially when it comes to TX, RX..ect... • Posts: 12 Threads: 2 Likes Received: 2 in 2 posts Likes Given: 1 Joined: Aug 2017 Reputation: 1 15-Aug-2017, 02:45 AM (This post was last modified: 15-Aug-2017, 02:46 AM by Bigjosautosales.) Yes I understand it is a lot of learning involved! I like to get my hands dirty and never say NO! So am up for any challenge. Am more of a mechanic type of guy like to build and then sit back and appreciate what I have created ! I have a few kits that I put together but I missed something my drone won't respond to controller!! • Posts: 1,504 Threads: 83 Likes Received: 944 in 654 posts Likes Given: 2,142 Joined: Sep 2016 Reputation: 24 So, have you configured the UART's for the receiver in the 'ports' tab of Cleanflight? Assigned 'arm' and 'mode' switches?
