Hello from Rome, once Caput Mundi :)
#1
Dear newfound friends,
medical doctor here with little spare time from work and family, but exactly for this reason I NEED a LITTLE time off and for myself only to unwind, recharge like a LiPO and go back to my work!

I am an ex competition sailplane pilot and love everything that flies.

So far have done several short attempt to learn flying radio controlled quadcopter with a secondhand old large fast heavy monster quad that I almost used to chop my head off on a windy day Wink

As that did not prove easy enough for me I just bought and got to take off with my first little indoor Mobula7 with my old DX6i radio.

Just setting the thing up took me a few evenings after putting the kid to bed and now I hope to start perfectioning the setup and slowly build confidence and fly, not just hover around like a dragonfly.

I hope to find a mentor patient enough to help me out and one day to be able to help others.

You all take care of yourselves.

Robert

PS Despite my name I am Italian and speak English with a little additional effort Smile

Welcome Robert.

I'm new here too and i started my FPV with Mobula 7 too around 16 months ago. Now I fly 5 inch quads regularly with no fear.
Happy to help if I can with any issue. Enjoy your FPV journey and stay safe with your work.
