Very new, just turning 74, never flown anything and thought Id give the 4 "wheelers" a try.. its been a challenge just getting started, what with all the bizarre acronyms and assumption that i know what it all means ...but lifes a challenge so bind me up and I'll give it a rip. Looks like a lot of experience here ready to help out

Hello and welcome to IntoFPV, Dystal!

Given a choice between knitting and FPV, I guess I have to say that FPV edges to the top Smile

There is definitely enough experience here to help you solve the various silly things that will arise as you learn.

Welcome to the group! Plenty of very helpful and experienced people here to help you through the learning curve. It can be a steep one but with a good group of people it becomes a bit less of a headache Wink

Welcome, There are a lot of good people on this forum; very helpful and fast response.
I am 68 today and live in Palm Coast, FL.  High Five Big Grin

I have been flying about a year and a half; mostly smaller stuff: a lot of tiny whoop quads that I fly indoors, an EMAX Tinyhawk Freestyle 2.5 inch, and a GEPRC Phantom 2.5 inch. This is an incredibly awesome sport. Flying FPV is an absolute blast. With the Coronavirus, the parks here (where I normally fly) are all closed...so... I flew a couple of holes on a golf course (which is also closed). Normally, I would not fly this course, but it is empty now...no people.
