This is more for the Frame makers out there that may read these forums.
You make a great frame, lots of time and $ go into it, nice lines, smooth carbon fibre, polished hardware. Looks great.
But, a lot of frames lack what I now think should be standard or at least offered as an option, equipment. and that is a dedicated HD cam mount.
We build the quads and put a lot of time in effort into them and want to share with the world our flying skills (or lack thereof..lol), and then comes the problem of attaching a HD cam, be it a Go pro Hero, a Session, Runcam HD, Mobius ,Yi etc..
Often our HD cams are held on by cable ties, elastic bands and as a result the cam goes flying off into never never land even in a small crash.
Of course having your HD camera eject itself in a crash is not a bad thing really as it can actually save the camera from some pretty serious damage.....if you can actually find it again. But having that option of securing it well would be welcomed by many.
A few Frame makers do have really nice HD mounts availabe as an added extra, Like the Speed Addict 210R and the ZMR-X210 just to name 2.
As a interim measure I make a large percentage of my mounts with my 3D printer and use or modify some of the cool designs out there made possible by the very skilled and talented designers who share their works on places like Thingiverse.com.
For me and suspect many others the the Humble yet much needed cam mount is essential in finishing off an otherwise beautiful frame.
Just a thought.
