I figured I couldn't go wrong since I got them for $25 a pop.

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience hacking them. They have USB and plug in to BetaFlight, but the frames and motors are crap. They're a brushed 2-lead motor. I'm wondering if I can replace the motors with brushless, though. I'm planning on printing up some frames to use with them. Also wondering if I can use a different LiPo. The included batteries are 7.4v 500mAh. The battery has 3 leads. 

If anyone has any insight or experience with this, I'd love to hear.

I don't have your quad, but I looked at the spec.

No, you will not be able to switch to brushless because you will need a new FC and you will need to buy ESC. Don't know where we will mount everything even if you attempt to do it. In addition, the frame probably cannot handle a powerful brushless motors.
