GPS not detected in Betaflight 4.2.11 but is in INAV and ArduPilot
#1
Gentlemen,

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.  I have several hours into this and so am asking for assistance.

My GPS is detected and functions correctly on this same quad when using INAV 4 and ArduPilot.  I flashed Betaflight 4.2.11 but have not been able to get the GPS to be detected.

Betaflight 4.2.11 (binary betaflight_4.2.11_STM32H743.hex, unified target: MTKS-MATEKH743.config)
Betaflight Configurator: 10.8.0

FC: Matek H743-SLIM
GPS: Matek M9N-5883
GPS connected to FC on UART 2.  TX->RX and RX->TX

I know that the GPS is wired to UART 2 correctly because it works on INAV and ArduPilot.
The GPS gets power from the 4v5 pin, so it gets powered from the USB, but after seeing there was a problem detecting the GPS, I plugged in the LiPo battery while testing just in case.

PORTS Tab
UART2, Sensor Input, GPS & 57600 (but I've tried all of the baudrate options and did a [Save and Reboot] after each change.

CONFIGURATION Tab
GPS: Enabled
Protocol: UBLOX (but I've tried NEMA too)
Auto Baud: Enabled
Auto Config: Enabled
Use Galileo: Disabled
Set Home Point Once: Enabled
Ground Assistance Type: None

I've attached a copy of the CLI dump file.

Best,

Jim

I think M9N support is in BF4.3, but was not in BF4.2. See discussion here:

Thank you V-22.  I'll flash 4.3 and see what happens :-)
