gps and buzzer
#1
Hi all

Is gps compatible with dji fpv system ? To see value of gps inside the mask? Or to find my drone if i lost it? My fc will be a fettec kiss.

What kind of buzzer will be good for my fc fettec kiss?

Any self-powered will work and the best.

I am pretty sure you get GPS telemetry in the DJI telemetry. GPS is very useful to fimd your quadm

You get GPS telemetry data in the DJI FPV Goggles but there are couple of things to be aware of:-
  1. None of the GPS data gets saved with the other OSD data to the subtitle file so in the event of a crash you can't just play back the DVR to get the GPS co-ordinates of where your quad went down. You need to remember to not switch the goggles off before you have had a chance to write down the GPS co-ordinates shown on the screen.

  2. There is a bug with the way the OSD in the DJI FPV Goggles interprets zeros after a dot / decimal place for some of the OSD elements including the GPS coordinates. It basically trims (or truncates) any leading zeros after a dot. So a coordinate of 12.0987654 will display as 12.987654 which can be miles away from where the quad actually went down. Likewise, a distance from home of of 1.07 miles will display as 1.7 miles. This bug still exists in the latest firmware (currently v01.00.06.00).

For a buzzer I would get the VIFLY Finder V2, and for a GPS I would get either a TBS M8 or a Matek M8Q.

Not exactly what you're asking and maybe you've already seen it, but Philipp Seidel's wiring diagram for Fettec FC, ESC, DJI, GPS etc was very useful for me https://blog.seidel-philipp.de/fettec-ki...iringplan/
