A few years ago when I first tried to learn to fly, I had a pair of box goggles that had an HDMI input and I could use them while flying Velocidrone and liftoff which really helped me learn to fly. Well now I want to try some sims to hone my skills and do better tricks but now I have DJI goggles that do not have an input and I tried just using a monitor with my PC but I don't think you get the same flying experience so does anyone have a recomendation for goggle to use with flight sims???

If you have wtfosd on your DJI gogles and a capable graphics card, you can use the wtfosd moonlight shim feature to stream the PC video to your goggles.

a decent display is way better than a goggle, it will be way more relaxing for the eyes.
i tried my goggles for a minute on the simulator and wont ever try it again ;-) i dont see any benefit. maybe i should pick a 22" screen to my flyspot one time xD

I wonder if you were to use a monitor to fly FPV if you would still be required to have a "spotter"? You can still see your surroundings and could look away at anytime...

i believe they just rate one focus and a spotter is needed anyway.

some skyrc goggles has a cam in it, some mixed picture would be poasible? but there it seems there isnt a way to fly them legal without spotter.

I have a Skyzone 04x, which has hdmi input. I run a hdmi cable from my laptop to the goggles. Works well. Several models of Skyzone have hdmi in. Other brands, too, but you have look in the specs. This works well for simulators to get the immersion you will need for live flight.

The very first DJI goggles (the white ones) also have hdmi in. They work well, too.
