So am planning to buy my first set of goggles and i wan't them to last, which is why am going for theFatshark HDO and the ImmersionRC rapidFIRE reciever.
However i don't know which antenna to pick, what i mean by that is :That i don't know if the reciever antennas are universal or drone/ build specific ?Can i use the same antena for the mobula7 or do i need another antena if i switch drone, If so how do i know which to pick for my goggles?

Additional question do i need a reciever module when i train in the simulator

For your goggles just get a omni and a patch for 5.8GHz and they are RHCP polarized. (this is pretty much standard for analog quads).

If you have an OpenTX radio, you can play sim connected via USB joystick mode.

You can use the same antennae for all of your quads. Antennae are specific to a frequency and very little else, so as long as your quads are on 5.8GHz (and if they're on analog video they will be) and you're using the same polarisation on the quad and the goggles then you're golden.

You might also consider using 2 omni antennae for Rapidfire. Some people reckon it works just as well because of the frame recombination magic.

The ground is for dead people.

Hi! For every day I use set Foxeer Pagoda omni plus Maple double patch
Or two Foxeer Pagoda for short flights (up to 700m) around

Also in my practice good Foxeer Lolipop 3 for quad and for goggle.

I recommend using a long ~15cm antenna so that there is less radio shadow from the head.
