So is f port working for telemetry and lua scripts? i'm starting a build with matek f405 aio. And was gonna try it. but i hate resoldering stuff. Makes a mess and I get in a hurry

Makes a mess and I get in a hurry Yes F. Port works for both. If you don't want to go through the hassle of learning something new, I would not bother. Because Matek F4 AIO does not have hardware inversion on UART TX, you will still need the hacked non-inverted S. Port signal. You can't use softserial with F.
