Flysky i6 COM port
#1
Hi, I want to connect my radio to the computer to update to 10 channels. The radio doesn't appear with any COM port. Who can I assign a COM port to my radio?[Image: 9GCPcbCl.png]

How are you connecting the FS-i6 to your computer? What data cable or TTL-to-USB adapter are you using? (a link to the exact item would be useful).

I am connecting the radio with this cable:

I also installed the CP210 driver.

OK, in that case the cable should show up as a Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge device under "Ports (COM & LPT)".

Have you tried the cable in another computer?

Well it's not an impossibility that you have a faulty cable, so if it doesn't work on another computer, the next option would be to get another cable.

Sorry for resurrecting an old post but Windows 10 shows the radio connected to COM3 in my device manager (i.e Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge(COM3)), but when I run the i6 MOD updater and choose COM3 it just times out and closes the application...

Any idea why?
