Hi Mithil,

Check gyro orientation...

Tab 1 (Set Up) quad connected: move the quad by hand, observe the direction of the front of quad (arrow on top)??
Tab 3 (Configuration) "Board and Sensor Alignment". This is the setting, the Z axis has course adjustment (e.g. CW 90 deg) then check again on Tab 1.
All 3 axes have fine adjustments, but generally not a factor if you get the course adjustment right.  If you run the board upside-down, you must first set the "roll" axis, then return and recheck the Z (yaw).

More than once, I have been off by following the markings on the board, especially on clone boards of unknown origin, but that was the exact symptom that I experienced. Edit: I have also pulled in a CLI from a manufacturer that was off by 90 deg.

Good Luck Smile

What was not exactly mentioned was calibrations.

First, calibrate the transmitter sticks. Instructions to do this are out there. Oscar writes about it.

Second, calibrate the accelerometer in Betaflight.

The two above steps establish the level and zero in the system.

Then, if the control is still wonky, try to increase the rpm filtering in the Betaflight PID tab. Slide the two sliders to the left from 1.0 to, say, 0.8 and see if it tames things. Don't touch anything else in the PID tab.
