So i have a wizard x220 that i got ebay from a seller used and got it and he placed long screws into motors and ruined the stator/windings and i just bit the bullet and got emax 2205/2300 and got new esc's which im not so sure about littlebee 20amp esc. my wizard has sp racing flightboard setup with pdb but problem is i checked my horizon flight on betaflight blackbox and at one time motor #1 got to 100% and others was around 50ish. ive got a slight oscillation problem and seems to not have the power it should.. in video i did have 3s lipo but on 4s it does pickup but seems like not enough. so im new to this and pids really do confuse me how it works. i also on think my p-roll on blackbox is high what would that mean or do i have something bad going on? also littlebee 20esc do they need a special process before flying with them? i calibrated esc with betaflight 3.0.1 and hear that littlebee esc are in need of capacitors? i had blheli esc that had only the signal wire hooked and not ground so littlebees i dont have the small ground hooked up neither to the board. Sorry for all these questions and hope to get good enough to help others

30 24-Feb-2017, 10:14 AM (This post was last modified: 24-Feb-2017, 10:15 AM by fftunes.) Caps are for protecting the rest of the electronics from back-fed voltage spikes as well as levelling voltage in general. Ground signal wire helps reducing voltage fluctuations on signal wire.
The issue with that one motor looks like either bad motor/esc or maybe bad solder joint in between.

30 25-Feb-2017, 10:03 AM (This post was last modified: 25-Feb-2017, 10:10 AM by fftunes.) Yh caps are meant to put directly on escs, or pdb. It's important they are low-ESR. Most people use 35V, 220uf if mounted to escs, 470-1000uf if mounted to pdb...
But i think the bigger issue is that one esc/motor that's bad. If in normal flight log shows 100% motor command on one, 50% on others, you'll miss out on half the available power because the good motors can't push harder than the weakest one in order to keep attitude...
Maybe try to redo the soldering on that one motor/esc to be sure.

0 thanks guys, yeh droneofprey im going to atlanta ga for vape convention 25/26th march. soi found a big issue with drone the bearing even though motors was new the top bearing is bad in two motors on y axis... so amazon is giving me crap so far and not sure what there going to do. I should knew that something was terrible wrong cause for emax 2205/2300kv not having no punch at all or power. so so now i did something that is costing me a good bit i ordered a alien rotor riot frame and will have droneproz 2206/2300kv with littlebee esc 30amp bl-helis(bb2 chips) and it will have the bluejay f4 with osd,im adding my rotor riot runcam 110deg fov and immersion tramp vtx for fatshark attitude v2. Hoping this will have way better power and fly good. I got question for anyone could help me with littlebee 30amp esc the air break is bad for throwing lots of voltage spikes what should i do here to keep anything from frying i wanna make this alien last a long time and get to point im tired of flying not tired of it blowing up
