Thought I'd make a list and post a couple pics of my first micro build, the 3" Armattan Japalura. I'll just say that this frame is a tank! I'm sure there's a lot better frames out there if racing's the name of your game, but if you're into freestyle and proximity, I don't think you can beat the Jap. And although it is pretty beefy, with the elimination of some screws (16 to be exact!) and the use of micro components, it comes in at an all-up weight of 243 grams with the 4S 650 mah lipo. I'm still playing with the rates and filters but with basically default BF 3.1.7 default settings, this little guy is a total blast to fly and really solid on basic flips and rolls, with no overshooting or compensation at all. If you compare the figures, it doesn't have near the power to weight ratio as a typical 5" racer, but I guess because of it's diminutive stature, it gives you the illusion of being terrifyingly fast hahaha.
