EX110 motors unarmed
#1
Hi guys, I think I'm missing something basic and simple.
Got a Eachine  EX110 BNF with Flysky IrangeX RX from BG and believe I have it bound to my Flysky FS-i6.
The blue rx led flashes rapidly with tx on and goes out when tx is turned off.
The FC blue led is steady when powered up but the red led flashes very fast about 5 times then flashes slower a few times then goes out,..........until the quad is tilted 45 degrees in pitch or roll. The fc leds do this with the TX on or off.
Any ideas will be appreciated and greedily tested.
Thank you and Happy New Year

Does the EX110 have an integrated RX on the FC?

They are seperate, the fc is connected by three wires.

Can you connect it to a computer and then to betaflight or cleanflight (whatever it's flashed with)?
You should be able to view the receiver registering values from the TX there regardless of arming or not.

I got the Cleanflight and Bataflight apps but haven't figured out how to get either to connect to the FC.
The best information I've found on utube and other forums is the EX110 has an SP racing F3 EVO FC.
Cleanflight and Bataflight fail and disconnect after 10 seconds so I got a lot of studying to do.

If this is your first quadcopter connected to your computer you probably need to install the drivers first.
If you start Cleanflight then you will see on the welcome page a few links to drivers, i think you need the first one or the second one, it could not harm to install both on your computer, if you have installed them then i will suggest to restart your computer and then connect your quadcopter.
Then you will see in the top right corner a drop down menu with different com port numbers, you have select the right one, this is probably not COM 1.

Driver install:

I've had similar issues and I'm also a new.  I found this Project Blue Falcon video very helpful and have gone back to it several times...
