Esy's First Quad Build

If your camera is connected to the FC you can try connecting it to the VTX directly, or vice versa.

Okey, I connect CAM to VTX directly and it works fine.

And you are positive you do not have the VIN and VOUT flipped on the FC? When I connected to one fo the FC's I have, the pinout on the diagram was different than what actually existed on the board itself. When I plugged in my battery, the VTX powered and transmitted, but I got nothing but grey screen in my googles. Then re-soldered the wires the opposite way and it worked.

I have found that most boards leave a lot to be desired when it comes to documentation!  I have watched a few FC's smoke because the diagrams were unclear and I gambled that I was right...bad guessing=magic smoke.

Does the Foxeer camera have a built in OSD?  I use RunCam's and even my micro has an OSD built in that displays runtime and (if properly wired) remaining battery voltage.  Looking at the specs of the camera you list, it should have something very similar.

I came from software development, so bad documentation is every day routine  :Big Grino another place to live with this.

Will look on a runcam osd :Smile

Btw I tried to swap VI with VO and nope, nothing works. Runcam eagle does not ahave OSD only pro mode have, but I buy without pro, because I liek the image more. So whats the best solution? buy standalone OSD?

After some problems with kakuto FC I need to switch to my second OMNIBUS F4 Pro Corner.
Its neat board with great design. But I run into problem with VTX - OSD / CAMERA

If I connect CAM to VIN and VOUT to VTX.
I can see nice OSD with black screen

If I connect CAM directly to VTX.
I can se nice and clear image from camera Big Grin

Any tips to make thsi work? I just ordered MICRO Minim Osd, hope it solve my problem, but I have few spare days.

I just confugred buzzer to alarm on low volt, so basically I can fly. But I want to get this work!:0

Are there options in the FC OSD menu, or on the camera to change between NTSC and PAL? Usually you get a fuzzy scrolling image with the incorrect option selected though...

I am kinda clutching at straws here I'm afraid mate!

I have but nothing happens after swtiching. But weird is, I does not get any picture, just pitch black..

I just leave this as it is with voltage alarm on buzzer and wait for external OSD. So I can atleast fly with drone Big Grin
