Hi,

I have a jerky motor. It starts up stops/starts . I initially thought it was the motor so i changed it but it had the same behavior. I think now its the ESC. Im using the T-Motor F55A Pro II F3 3-6S BLHeli_32 4in1 ESC.

Is there a way to test/fix them ? Or do people just replace them if they give trouble ?

On 4in1, people usually replace the whole thing. You can buy a separate and run that to the affected motor. But not an elegant approach. If you know what is wrong then you can fix it. But most of us are not electronical engineers. There are some videos out there that do talk about testing and fixing. I believe Drone Mesh has some. Before you replace the ESC, check to make sure you running dshot and not an analog esc protocol.
