118 I meant the version on the quad because we did not have vtx table in versions before Betaflight 4.1.

0 20-Feb-2022, 08:08 AM (This post was last modified: 20-Feb-2022, 08:12 AM by ksomoso.) Oh, it's v4.0.4
I try to flash it using betaflight but it gets stuck at "initiating reboot to bootloader". How can I fix this?

786 Try manually putting the FC into DFU / bootloader mode by holding down the boot button on the FC as you plug in the USB cable.
Before you flash any new version of Betaflight, make sure you run the "dump" and "diff all" commands in the CLI tab and save the output of each one to a separate file. If anything goes wrong you can then simply just revert back and restore all of your previous settings that are held in those files.
One question to ask yourself however is whether you actually need to update the firmware on the quad if it is flying fine. If you do decide to do that, keep in mind that you will likely need to re-tune the PIDS and filters on the quad yourself because the original Betaflight 4.0.4 PID and filter settings that were tuned by EMAX at the factory won't be compatible with newer version of Betaflight (4.1 and later), so you will have to start from scratch and re-do all the tuning. If you feel confident with doing that then just continue and upgrade the firmware, otherwise you might just end up causing yourself more hassle than it's worth.

0 Thanks for the info. I ended up flashing it and now i have the Video Transmitter tab available. I don't mind tuning the quad. I was having issues with binding the channels to my radio. This solved it.
