Edit Reason: added picture ) Banggood has released a new set of Eachine AIO cameras that looks to be working good for a tiny whoop or Eachine E010. They are only $20 and the weight is 4.5 grams, so I guess it would be a good fit 25mW version: http://www.banggood.com/Eachine-TX01-Sup...88374.html 200mW version: http://www.banggood.com/Eachine-TX02-Sup...88368.html Posts: 5,322 Threads: 673 Likes Received: 3,159 in 1,747 posts Likes Given: 2,032 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 139 Nice camera only 4.4g weight, but i wish they didn't have the built-in LCD display, could have saved more weight. not sure if the 200mW is necessary, it draws more current given the micro quads are already short in battery lol have to get myself one to test! • Posts: 133 Threads: 5 Likes Received: 52 in 29 posts Likes Given: 22 Joined: Aug 2016 Reputation: 5 Mannnnnnn the rate at which banggood releases things is no good for my buyer's remorse ... especially when ... in the 2 weeks it takes to get to you, they've released 67 new products. but these look pretty awesome. I fly exclusively micro quads right now and I feel like I'm exceeding the range of 25mw regularly (mostly because of trees / obstacles) - so I purchased all the makings for a custom 200mw micro setup and wammo - out come these little guys ::womp:: Hope they've made improvements image quality on these over the EF-01. I ordered FPV stuff for my micro in the sale and now this has been released which would have been much better. Current quad: ZMR 250 / DYS SE2205 / Littlebee 20A ESCs / Drone Lab 1500 4S / Naze32 Rev5 / BF 2.7.1 FPV: Runcam Skyplus / Aomway 200mw VTX / Fatshark DomV1 >>>>>>>>>> Check Out My Build<<<<<<<<<< • Posts: 133 Threads: 5 Likes Received: 52 in 29 posts Likes Given: 22 Joined: Aug 2016 Reputation: 5 (19-Sep-2016, 06:41 PM)HamsterFPV Wrote: I ordered FPV stuff for my micro in the sale and now this has been released which would have been much better. Meeeee tooooo However, also in the sale I ordered a set of Realacc Diversity Split Receivers for my FatSharks. And now I'm sorta thinking that 200mw isn't really necessary at this range. They're not without their quirks, but these receivers seem to effectively extend my range substantially by letting me get the best of the omni and directional worlds. It's pretty amazing, I can see one of the leds that indicates which antenna has been selected - if it weren't for that I wouldn't be able to tell there was a switch - man does it help. Now I just need to find a way to cover up the doors .... too cheap to shell 10$ for them on banggood. • Posts: 947 Threads: 66 Likes Received: 350 in 248 posts Likes Given: 164 Joined: Apr 2016 Reputation: 34 20-Sep-2016, 10:12 PM (This post was last modified: 20-Sep-2016, 10:13 PM by oyvinla.) no need for a door if you fasten both modules with sticky tape: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/4avMTp...05-h940-no no need for a door if you fasten both modules with sticky tape: • Posts: 133 Threads: 5 Likes Received: 52 in 29 posts Likes Given: 22 Joined: Aug 2016 Reputation: 5 (20-Sep-2016, 10:12 PM)oyvinla Wrote: no need for a door if you fasten both modules with sticky tape: Ohhhh that's nice I'm afraid I won't be able to remove either of them without damaging them if I do that. I did install them internally so that I could spread the antenna weight out a bit. I think I'm going to try and flash the LaForge Firmware onto these to see if that changes the video quality at all. I swear the gamma / contrast / colors are little off and (and hard to fix with the contrast/brightness buttons on the fatshark) ... that seems like something that might be software related. But I could be wrong. • Posts: 947 Threads: 66 Likes Received: 350 in 248 posts Likes Given: 164 Joined: Apr 2016 Reputation: 34 20-Sep-2016, 10:39 PM (This post was last modified: 20-Sep-2016, 10:41 PM by oyvinla.) I also didn't like the 3d printed door for the diversity module as it is not light proof. I could probably just spray paint it or something, but this works just fine for now. Also if I'm planning to swap the goggles for HD 3,it is probably easier to sell without too much hacking (20-Sep-2016, 10:28 PM)CesiumSalami Wrote: Ohhhh that's nice I'm afraid I won't be able to remove either of them without damaging them if I do that. Edit Reason: add price ) Just saw this on Aliexpress @ 3.6g, 600tvl, 200mW! is $40 tho... Edit to add : REVIEW OF THIS CAM ON BG (agrees with CesiumSalami) SAYS IT NEEDS LC FILTER, NOT SUITABLE FOR TINYWHOOP • Posts: 1,504 Threads: 83 Likes Received: 944 in 654 posts Likes Given: 2,142 Joined: Sep 2016 Reputation: 24 (19-Sep-2016, 03:15 PM)Oscar Wrote: Nice camera only 4.4g weight, but i wish they didn't have the built-in LCD display, could have saved more weight. not sure if the 200mW is necessary, it draws more current given the micro quads are already short in battery lol have to get myself one to test! I cant find a 25mW version of the 200mW 1 aliexpress has, what d'you reckon (3.6g vs 4.4g) 0.8g lighter vs less draw? has anyone done a hover test with a switchable FPV tx 25mW vs 200mW? • Posts: 133 Threads: 5 Likes Received: 52 in 29 posts Likes Given: 22 Joined: Aug 2016 Reputation: 5 i seem to recall that super light aliexpress version didn't have any noise filtering so it requires a separate battery or other solution? that's the $1m question for these new ones from Banggood - do they filter noise effectively? I think even the lightest lc filters are 1-2grams. mostly an issue for the micro / tiny whoop crowd... • Posts: 1,504 Threads: 83 Likes Received: 944 in 654 posts Likes Given: 2,142 Joined: Sep 2016 Reputation: 24 (21-Sep-2016, 05:22 AM)CesiumSalami Wrote: ...didn't have any noise filtering so it requires a separate battery or other solution? ... mostly an issue for the micro / tiny whoop crowd... Do you reckon you could use a couple of button cells, for the tiny whoop crowd? eg. Rechargeable li-ion button cell LR2450, (3.6V 120 mAh) has a max current draw of 35ma and somehow apparently weighs almost 6g! • Posts: 133 Threads: 5 Likes Received: 52 in 29 posts Likes Given: 22 Joined: Aug 2016 Reputation: 5 (23-Sep-2016, 06:37 AM)Tom BD Bad Wrote: Rechargeable li-ion button cell LR2450 ::MIND BLOWN:: i mean .... not really .... but I just didn't know that was as thing • |
