Recently I build a drone. and when I start lifting its goes to one side, I checked the Motors, and Propellers, calibrated the accelerometer checked the receiver value, and trimmed it...But the problem remains the same. unable to resolve this problem. They do like to drift a bit when hovering. You could try calibrating your sticks if possible on your transmitter. • Posts: 6 Threads: 1 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jun 2022 Reputation: 0 (01-Jun-2022, 07:00 PM)Pekka Wrote: They do like to drift a bit when hovering. Try giving it a bit more throttle and then repost a video if it’s still doing it a couple feet off the ground. You’re barely off the ground and sitting in all of the turbulent air from your props. As Pekka said, they do drift a bit. Dangerous operations. Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about. But getting it up a couple of metres did help and when it's moving at 20 mph, you don't really notice it anymore. Saying that, if you are going forward at 20mph and its drifting massively to the left or right, then you might have a problem. As Lemony suggested, post a video if you can. So I when I try to lift my drone, first the drone start moving to left with any input it goes to left, then I tried controlling it.. Initially When i start lifting it's goes a side, that my problemproblem. • Posts: 4,550 Threads: 38 Likes Received: 1,245 in 1,064 posts Likes Given: 430 Joined: Aug 2020 Reputation: 118 I think you are simply flying too close to the ground. Try and read up on ground effect. Go outside, fly the quad at least 1.5 to 2 meters above the ground and keep moving away from your prop wash and then you should be able to guess if the quad is drifting. FPV quads are not camera drones like the Mavic that have several sensors to stabilize the flight. • Posts: 6 Threads: 1 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jun 2022 Reputation: 0 03-Jun-2022, 08:50 AM (This post was last modified: 03-Jun-2022, 08:51 AM by parvesh_bingi.)
