Something with USB power passthrough or what's the difference? I love to share and help people! The difference between these revisions are: 6 has no diode, so the ESCs ended up being powered from the USB 5v line, and pass-through ESC programming doesn't work 6a has issues with the spektrum port 6b fixed the issue with the spektrum port But every revision works well as an FC, and passthrough works fine in the later 2 revisions. • Posts: 60 Threads: 22 Likes Received: 1 in 1 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 5 Fantastic, that really clarifies it thanks Josh I love to share and help people! It was! Luckily I had no props on, when I learned it I callibrated manually by passtrough. EDIT: there is some method of lowering min command or setting values trough CLI but meh... Another EDIT: I remember if I set throttle values wrong in blheli it went into callibration mode, but I got strange values this way. They also were out of sync. • Posts: 5,322 Threads: 673 Likes Received: 3,159 in 1,747 posts Likes Given: 2,032 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 139 On that topics, Konrad or Josh can you advise on this? http://intofpv.com/t-naze32-rev-6a-or-not • Posts: 1,070 Threads: 70 Likes Received: 742 in 378 posts Likes Given: 577 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 44 23-Feb-2016, 09:38 AM (This post was last modified: 23-Feb-2016, 09:39 AM by KonradS.) No problem Oscar. Damn, I had trouble recalling how the hell my motors started after plugging that lipo. Then I remembered I was using old ESC as a BEC - that one probably fed 5V to vbat and that was enough to initialize the littlebees. So if anyone has a rev6 and a crappy BEC, beware • Posts: 190 Threads: 26 Likes Received: 21 in 15 posts Likes Given: 7 Joined: Feb 2016 Reputation: 6 (22-Feb-2016, 11:08 AM)Konrad Stepanajtys Wrote: ESC pass-trough works on rev6, standard ESC callibration doesn't - motors go full throttle after plugging the lipo in. I just disconnect the 5v (middle) wire from FC-to-ESC control cable temporarily. Then plug in USB and proceed with "normal" calibration. • Posts: 1 Threads: 0 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Apr 2016 Reputation: 0 (19-Feb-2016, 08:24 PM)JoshSky Wrote: The difference between these revisions are: 6 has no diode, so the ESCs ended up being powered from the USB 5v line, and pass-through ESC programming doesn't work 6a has issues with the spektrum port 6b fixed the issue with the spektrum port But every revision works well as an FC, and passthrough works fine in the later 2 revisions. is it possible to add the diode to the initial rev6 to have like function and what diode would it be a standard schottky diode? • Posts: 1,070 Threads: 70 Likes Received: 742 in 378 posts Likes Given: 577 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 44 (21-Apr-2016, 02:21 PM)phynce Wrote: is it possible to add the diode to the initial rev6 to have like function and what diode would it be a standard schottky diode? Is it possible to identify the revision of a naze32 v6 board just by looking at it? I see many sellers selling these naze32 v6 without mentioning anything about what revision it is. • |
